OUR STORY
Generations Church was founded in April 1997 by Pastors Pete and Sharon Mullins. The church began in a school gym, later moved into a small office space, and eventually found a permanent home in a former Moose Lodge that was prayerfully renovated and transformed into a place of worship.
Through every season, the heart of the church has remained consistent. Over the years, many have come through our doors and experienced life change through salvation, healing, deliverance, prophetic ministry, and powerful encounters with God’s presence.
Today, Generations Church continues to be a place where people from all walks of life can encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and be part of a Spirit-led, multi-generational family.

COMMON QUESTIONS & CLEAR ANSWERS
Generations Church is led by a Board of Elders who provide spiritual oversight, accountability, and guidance for the direction of the church. This team works together to ensure our doctrine remains biblically sound and our decisions are made with wisdom, integrity, and prayer.
The Senior Pastor carries responsibility for vision, preaching, and day-to-day leadership, supported by a pastoral team that helps care for and shepherd the church family. While our members do not vote on church decisions, we value prayer, trust, and relational engagement as we pursue unity and faithfulness to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
We believe giving is an act of worship and trust toward God. Scripture teaches us to honor the Lord with our first and our best, and we joyfully practice generosity as part of our discipleship.
Giving is encouraged, taught, and modeled—but never pressured. We trust the Holy Spirit to lead each person in obedience and faith as they grow in their walk with Christ.
We affirm and empower women to serve, lead, and minister according to the call of God on their lives. Throughout Scripture, God uses both men and women to teach, lead, and advance His Kingdom, and we joyfully embrace that biblical reality.
Women serve in leadership, teaching, and ministry roles at Generations Church as we seek to honor the gifts God has placed within the body of Christ.
We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active today and are given to build up the church and glorify Jesus. This includes, but is not limited to, prophecy, as well as other Spirit-empowered gifts described in Scripture.
We believe God still speaks to His church, and we encourage believers to grow in hearing God and operating in the gifts with love, humility, and maturity. All prophetic words and spiritual expressions are to be tested and weighed against Scripture and the character of Jesus, recognizing that people can misunderstand or communicate imperfectly.
We do not manipulate or pressure people through spiritual gifts. Instead, we seek to steward them responsibly, believing God uses the gifts of the Spirit to bring encouragement, clarity, healing, freedom, and breakthrough.
We believe Jesus will physically return and that history is moving toward His Kingdom being fully revealed. Our current teaching aligns with a post-tribulational, pre-millennial understanding of the end times; however, we hold this view with humility, recognizing that no one knows the day or the hour and that faithful believers have held differing perspectives throughout church history.
Eschatology is not a primary doctrine at Generations Church and is not a point of division. What matters most is how our hope in Christ’s return shapes the way we live now. We believe God is patient in His return, desiring that none would perish, and therefore we remain committed to the work of ministry—preaching the gospel, making disciples, exposing darkness with light, and partnering with Jesus to reach the lost.
We approach the future with hope, not fear, and we seek to live ready and faithful—willing to endure hardship, persecution, or cost for the sake of Christ, while continuing to labor for His Kingdom until He returns.
We practice biblical deliverance—the casting out of demons—as modeled by Jesus and affirmed in the Great Commission and the ministry of the early church. We believe spiritual freedom is part of the gospel and that Jesus still sets captives free today.
While counseling, discipleship, and pastoral care are valuable, we recognize deliverance as a distinct ministry of Jesus that addresses spiritual bondage through prayer and spiritual authority. We pursue this ministry with love, humility, discernment, and a commitment to biblical truth.
We believe God designed marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman. This biblical definition of marriage is rooted in creation, affirmed by Jesus, and consistently upheld throughout Scripture. It shapes our teaching, leadership practices, and use of church resources.
We welcome people from all backgrounds and with all kinds of brokenness—including sexual sin, relational sin, and confusion about identity—because the gospel is for sinners in need of repentance, healing, and transformation. Like all sin, sexual sin is not affirmed or celebrated, but lovingly confronted with truth and grace so that freedom and new life in Christ can be experienced.
For this reason, Generations Church will not perform, endorse, or support marriages, relationships, or practices that fall outside the biblical design, nor will our facilities, resources, leadership, or staff be used in ways that affirm or promote beliefs or behaviors contrary to Scripture. This includes sexual activity outside of marriage, same-sex relationships or marriage, and views of gender that conflict with God’s created design.
Our convictions are not shaped by cultural pressure or shifting social norms, but by the authority of God’s Word. We hold these beliefs with humility, compassion, and confidence, believing that Jesus still transforms lives and calls people into truth, holiness, and freedom.
